We are sorry but at present we do not deliver to the Isle of Man, although we are happy to facilitate a collection.
Do you deliver to the Channel Islands?
We do not deliver direct to the Channel Islands, however, if you live in or require delivery to the Channel Islands, we are happy to deliver your order to Ship 2 Me, we will just require your customer number and your final delivery address. We also offer a VAT refund scheme on receipt of the relevant paperwork. Please email us or phone 0844 335 2927 for further details.
When can I expect my delivery?
When you place your order, the product delivery section will give you the expected delivery time of that range of furniture. Once your complete order is at our warehouse, your order is passed to our delivery company. They aim to deliver your order to you within 7-14 days, and will contact you directly to arrange a suitable time. Sometimes deliveries in our surcharge areas can take a little longer to deliver to allow for a route that is economical.
If you have ordered our Soft home items, we generally use TNT on a next working day delivery, once your order is complete, we will email you to inform you that TNT have collected your order for delivery. If you miss your TNT delivery, they will leave you a card with instructions on how to rearrange.
What happens if I miss my furniture order delivery?
We heavily subsidise our delivery charges, so unfortunately if you miss our delivery we will have to charge you for the costs of the wasted delivery. There is a £100 charge on customers who fail to keep to their delivery arrangements.
What is your delivery service?
Your furniture order will be delivered by a two man delivery team, who will put your furniture in a room of your choice. If you have ordered one or two small pieces of furniture, your order may be delivered by a one man service, we will confirm this with you before they arrive.
Once your order has been delivered, you need to unpack the furniture and check it fully to ensure you are happy with it before you dispose of the packaging. In the event of you wishing to return the furniture for any reason you will need to repack the furniture in its original packaging.
Do you offer any other services such as removing packaging and assembly?
We can offer light assembly of your furniture items, such as tables and beds, and the furniture can be unpacked by our delivery team, there is an extra charge for these services, please contact us to enquire about these. Please note, if our delivery team unpacks and removes the packaging from your furniture, you will be required to check over your furniture and sign that it is of satisfactory quality and you will have to sign as accepting the furniture.
Is there anything I need to do before my delivery?
It is your responsibility to ensure that all your furniture will fit where you wish to put it, if our delivery team cannot access your property sufficiently, they will leave the furniture at the nearest suitable place. You also need to let us know if there are any access problems getting a large delivery vehicle to the driveway of your property so that we can plan sufficiently ahead of the delivery. This could be delivering your furniture at an alternative address. Please also take care to remove any wall items that may be in the way during delivery, and protect other furniture and carpets. We cannot accept responsibility for any marks or damage that may inadvertently be caused by delivery staff during the normal course of their work.
